Project Description

Hart & Hickman is an environmental consultant for an international airport.  H&H has assisted the airport with UST closures and site assessment activities at multiple airport fuel farms. At one fuel farm, H&H removed multiple 20,000-gallon USTs and performed soil and groundwater assessment for the USTs and approximately 800 ft of remote underground jet fuel piping located under the tarmac. Due to the size of the USTs, a crane was used to lift the tanks from the ground. H&H completed the assessment work and obtained a risk-based No Further Action letter from the regulating agency.
