Project Description

Hart & Hickman conducted a protected species review, cultural resources review, and wetland and stream delineation for a proposed sewer extension project for a metropolitan utility department. The purpose of this project was to eliminate a pump station by constructing a gravity sewer and to provide sewer service to areas with failing septic systems that are degrading surface water quality. The proposed 6,500 ft long sewer right-of-way will parallel a stream with multiple stream crossings. H&H is working with the utility department to minimize impacts to the stream and to lead the permitting process with the US Army Corps of Engineers and State regulators.
