Project Description
Hart & Hickman performed permitting for a 60-acre landfill used for construction and demolition debris generated by a large North Carolina mill operation. To maintain the aggressive demolition schedule, Hart & Hickman concurrently obtained approval to construct a small C&D cell, which was utilized immediately for placement of debris, while awaiting final approval of the larger landfill permit. This short-term permitting solution saved $100,000 in off-site disposal costs.
